Today after hula hoop class, I had to run some errands in our tiny hamlet. So I slipped off my flip-flops and walked the town barefoot.
It was nice.
After that, I came home to do my daily walk, and sort of wimped out and put on my monkey-toe shoes. I don't know why.
Halfway through the walk, I resolved that tomorrow's walk would be done barefoot, even if I have to carry my shoes just to feel better. So there you have it---another Dani Hemmat public declaration for the purpose of making myself do something that I'm not sure I can do.
So there.
